We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management within a retail environment. This role requires effective communication, organisational abilities, and the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team. A multilingual background is advantageous, as it will enhance our outreach to various customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales department to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  • Inspect, purchase and maintain vehicles for the company, ensuring quality and profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Manage and execute social media strategies to promote inventory and engage customers.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions for senior management.
  • Organise training sessions for team members to improve their skills in sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Supervise daily operations within the sales department, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within the motor trade.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently during lone working periods.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with vehicle purchasing, valuations and inventory management.
  • Experience in social media management for marketing and customer engagement.
  • Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks related to sales management, including reporting and data analysis.
  • Multilingual capabilities are desirable but not essential; however, strong communication skills are a must.

Pay: £30,960.00-£35,104.00 per year
