Registered Nurse – NICU: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

In this deeply rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to newborn infants at their most vulnerable, making a meaningful difference from the very start of life. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will care for babies with complex needs while also supporting and guiding their families through what can be an emotional and uncertain time.

Working closely with the Ward Sister and multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver personalised care that reflects both the clinical and holistic needs of each infant and their family. Your compassion, attention to detail, and professional judgement will have a direct and lasting impact on patient outcomes and family experiences.

This role offers a strong sense of purpose, as you build relationships with families, celebrate progress, and provide comfort and reassurance when it matters most. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to a positive team environment, support student learning, and continue to develop your own skills and knowledge.

Every day brings the opportunity to make a genuine difference, making this a highly fulfilling and meaningful career within neonatal care.

About us

We are an award-winning (Company Name - Subscribers only) Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.

We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National (Company Name - Subscribers only) Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ (Company Name - Subscribers only)-run hospital in the East Midlands.
