We are looking for a Reasonable Adjustments Implementation Coordinator to join our team.

This is an exciting and varied role which offers the chance of joining the team responsible for delivering the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010, supporting the implementation of all Reasonable Adjustment (RA) plans for SQE candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as a Facilities Assistance/Coordinator, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role

You will be passionate about removing barriers and ensuring that all candidates have the same opportunity to sit the SQE. We are looking for someone with:

Strong organisational skills: the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple adjustment requests while meeting strict deadlines

Strong administrative skills: experienced in maintaining accurate records, managing data, and ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant

Strong communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and build relationships

Ability to work to a high level of accuracy – attention to detail is essential

Problem-solving mindset: capable of identifying potential barriers to implementing adjustments and proposing practical solutions

Confidence in working with technology: familiar with assistive technologies and accessibility tools

Knowledge of equality and accessibility standards: aware of relevant legislation, such as the Equality Act 2010, and committed to promoting inclusivity

*Note: this role is a hybrid position with approximately 40% of your time based in our office and 60% of your time at your home. You will also be required to travel and spend time away from home during our assessments, which are approximately 4 times per year.

In 2018, we were appointed as the independent assessment organisation for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which we then launched in 2021. This exam is now the sole route to qualifying as a Solicitor of England and Wales and will ultimately be taken by upwards of 13,000 candidates per year.
