Qualified Butcher required for immediate start. Must have at least 3 years previous experience in the preparation of Beef, Pork and Lamb. Good communication skills and fully compliant with HACCP standard as working in a very modern environment. 32 hrs+ pw.
Butcher with minimum of 3 years experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
At least 3 years experience in a butcher skills at retail level
Be able to converse with customers in English
Customer focused
A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers
The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills
An excellent knowledge of butchery cuts
Beef pork and lamb boning knowledge
Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and HACCP compliance
Live in or be able to reliably commute to Ballybofey daily.
8 hour shift Monday – Saturday with day off during week.
General duties include:
Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards
Prepare and assist with fresh meat preparation, cutting, displaying and merchandising for counter and prepacking
No Sunday or bank holiday work
Following freshness and rotation principles
