We are a west Dublin based manufacturer and distributor of high-quality roofing products looking for a Production Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will operate in a production system that processes raw materials associated with the manufacture and processing of metal products. The successful candidate will ensure product quality, maintain a clean work area and practice thorough Health and Safety and good housekeeping practices.
Other job specific duties include:
• Lifting/carrying product.
• Operating and monitoring machinery, removing or shifting materials and/or finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Operating manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
Work Environment: The job is within an industrial environment, and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
Additionally, safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be strictly adhered to at all times. This includes P.P.E. safety wear such as gloves, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operation in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere.
Hrs 6am to 2pm Mon-Thur, Fri finish at 2pm. Position may require overtime work as needed.
Requirements:
• Experience working with production machinery
• Forklift experience is mandatory, with current counterbalance forklift licence preferable
• Experience using an excavator or similar would be beneficial
• Production line experience working with metal product would be beneficial
