Are you detail-oriented, highly organised, and passionate about supporting one of the UK’s most exciting sectors?We are looking for a Procurement & Compliance Assistant to join a growing procurement team within a pioneering organisation at the forefront of clean energy innovation.

This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative team of 50 professionals, supporting procurement operations that directly contribute to shaping the future of sustainable energy in the UK.

The RoleAs a Procurement & Compliance Assistant, you will provide essential support to ensure procurement activities run smoothly, effectively, and in full compliance with UK Procurement Regulations (PCR), departmental requirements, and Cabinet Office guidelines.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of procurement activities, from system administration to reporting, training, and assurance processes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a high-profile organisation with potential career progression.

Key Responsibilities:· Maintain procurement data and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.· Use the Procurement module of the U4BW (Agresso) ERP system.· Collate and prepare procurement reports for internal and external stakeholders.· Support compliance checks for vendor creation and amendments.· Manage procurement helpdesk queries, providing advice and guidance.· Assist with training delivery for U4BW Requisitioners and Responsible Officers.· Act as a Superuser for the Contract Management System and Etendering portal.· Support the P2P Compliance Manager with assurance checks.· Deputise at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings where required.· Contribute to promoting best practice procurement policies and processes.

About YouWe are seeking someone proactive, diligent, and able to thrive in a structured yet fast-paced environment. You’ll need strong administrative and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive data accurately.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:· 5 GCSEs (including English Language and Maths).· Familiarity with Public Sector Procurement principles.· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.· Strong administrative background with proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.· Ability to manage and analyse numeric data for reporting purposes.· Confident communicator with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.· A team player who can also work independently.· Experience using an integrated ERP system (ideally U4BW/Agresso).
