We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves providing individual and group lessons, fostering a love for music, and helping students achieve their musical goals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group piano lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each student.
  • Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and materials to engage students effectively.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Prepare students for performances, examinations, or competitions as required.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes creativity and self-expression.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Stay updated on new teaching techniques, repertoire, and trends in music education.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a piano teacher or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in piano performance with knowledge of various musical styles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music are essential qualities for this role.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults is an advantage but not required.
