Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Payment Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement innovative payment solutions within our financial services division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment systems, particularly in wholesale/commercial banking payments , and a deep understanding of industry standards and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing High-Level Design.

• Supporting the delivery teams throughout the agile project lifecycle.

• Performing initial engagement with the business to determine concept designs, and project estimates, and provide technology guidance.

• Determining the impact of projects developed by other technology teams on the EMEA Treasury environment (technology, people, process).

• Reviewing project designs for adherence to the organisation’s design standards and technology stack.

• Set the technology strategy (technology and design standards) for the department.

• Working closely with the enterprise architecture team to build out the treasury platform.

• Support the build-out of the Global Banking and Markets Technology strategy through the development of blueprints in the treasury space.

• Ensuring timely quality deliverables.

• Regular status reporting to Senior Management in technology and the business.

Experience in Wholesale/Commercial banking with the following products would be ideal:

• Payments, including SWIFT, ACH, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA, TARGET2, ISO, Real-Time Payments.

• Demand Deposit Accounting.

• Treasury and Cash Management Systems.

• Banking Regulations OFAC, FTR, PSD2, AML.

• Trade Finance and Loans.
