We are looking for a motivated and creative Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. If you’re a detail-oriented individual with a flair for event planning, marketing, and communication, this could be the perfect role for you!
Position Overview:
The Events & Marketing Coordinator will assist in organizing, promoting, and executing various events and marketing initiatives. This role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and communication skills. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to help elevate the company’s presence and engage with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Assist in organizing, coordinating, and executing in-person and virtual events.
- Ensure smooth event operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high standard of customer experience.
- Marketing & Promotion:
- Support the creation of marketing materials, including social media posts, emails, flyers, and other promotional content.
- Help manage and update company social media channels and website content.
- Monitor and analyze event and marketing campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with internal teams to ensure marketing and event objectives align with company goals.
- Coordinate with external vendors, sponsors, and partners to enhance event experiences.
- Assist with customer communication and engagement during events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media platforms; experience with event management tools (Eventbrite, Zoom, etc.) is a plus.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for marketing and event planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices.
