Job Scope
To ensure that the overhead lines work is done to client specification and in accordance with SHEQ standards.

Needs to Have
All relevant H&S accreditation and certification (Safepass, Climbing & Rescue etc)
Full Drivers Licence – as required
Utility Approved Qualified Overhead Lines Worker for 10kv/20kv/LV networks
Utility Approved Overhead lines worker for all HV networks systems.
Experience with Fibre is an advantage

Duties –
Install, maintain, repair and refurbish high voltage overhead electrical lines and systems.
A Lineworker works on both transmission and distribution lines that originate from a power plant and extend to individual buildings or homes.
Ability to climb and work at height (up to 50m) on poles and towers in a safe and professional manor, utilising Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP’s) when required.
Operate the network to facilitate outages associated with emergency repairs and maintenance of the network.
Carry out emergency repairs to electrical lines in emergency situations such as lightning, wind, ice storm, or ground disruptions.
Utilise live working procedures to undertake maintenance and repairs of the network where outages cannot be granted.
Carry out all works in compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation, standards, and procedures.
