We are looking for a full time Optical Assistant. Common duties of optical assistants include greeting patients, answering phones, handling and responding to correspondence, maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, assisting with vision tests and teaching patients how to use and care for contact lenses. An interest in eyewear styling and fashion and implementing social media presence, advantageous.

The position will require someone who has excellent communication skills and a great work ethic. This position will require the successful candidate to work on Saturdays. No late nights, no Sundays. Full training will be given and further education available to formal qualification level. Fluency in English essential.

Job Types: Full-time, permanent position. Please note, this position requires in depth training with a view to a permanent position and will not suit students looking for part time employment.

Pay: €26,000.00-€30,000.00 per year DOE
