Location: Working from our head office at Cloverhill Industrial Estate, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, Ireland
Responsibilities:
Circet deploys and maintains fixed and mobile telecommunications networks, transport infrastructure, power services and multimedia installations for its clients across various industries. The Operations Support Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the successful running and operation of Circet by overseeing and coordinating the activities of Circet’s employees who are tasked with deploying and maintaining this critical infrastructure.
Accordingly, their day-to-day activities and responsibilities include:
Directly coordinating the activities of Circet’s employees which include electrical and electronic trade workers, telecommunications engineers and linespersons.
Ensuring each Circet employee has the relevant equipment to complete their work, both safely and efficiently.
Ensuring each Circet employee has and turns into work with their full uniform.
Establishing and monitoring work schedules to meet contract requirements. Reforecasting and rescheduling work schedules for any that don’t complete to allow sufficient time for completion.
Liaising with managers, other departments and Circet employees to resolve operational problems.
Determining and recommending staffing requirements and other needs to satisfy contract requirements.
Escalating and prioritising work orders to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner.
Managing and updating work orders on internal systems.
Running and circulating daily and monthly reports.
Working with management to drive change and implement process improvement measures.
Managing their assigned team, ensuring all tasks and work schedules are completed to support Circet operations.
Monitoring and updating team KPIs. Identifying areas for new training or skill deficits.
The Operation Support Supervisor also carries responsibility for ensuring compliance with health and safety. In this regard, their day-to-day activities and responsibilities also include:
Ensuring all Circet employees adhere to specific health and safety policies and procedures.
Reporting accidents and completing accident report forms in a timely manner.
Ensuring each Circet employee reports near miss or dangerous occurrences, even if accident or injury does not occur.
