Operations Manager – (Company Name - Subscribers only) | London: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

(Company Name - Subscribers only) is revolutionising the way audiences experience audio by reinventing the tools used by designers to shape sound for live productions. We’re making products that rip up the rulebook of live audio processing – allowing sound engineers and designers to work in dramatically more creative ways.

We’re an early-revenue startup with the backing of one of the most exciting entertainment technology groups in the world, looking for passionate individuals driven by a desire to deliver seriously excellent products to sound engineers and creatives around the world. We believe in “freedom & responsibility”; working with excellent people and letting them be excellent.

the role

You’ll:

  • Facilitate the team’s business operations as we grow, combining commercial, organisational, and interpersonal skills across a flexible and wide-ranging brief to maximise productivity of the team, and help us execute on our vision of delivering the world’s best audio products.
  • Champion (Company Name - Subscribers only) products, including transform.engine.
  • Build and develop commercial relationships with third parties including plugin developers and other manufacturers, as a key driver in developing both current and future product offerings.
  • Working with the Head of Sales, manage our presence at marketing events such as tradeshows and product launches, ensuring a compelling and engaging experience for customers.
  • Manage the calculation and processing of contractual financial payments to and from third parties.
  • Coordinate our end-user support team, integrating resources across the group and our distribution network.
  • Be a central point of contact for group-wide communications, and support the CEO in enabling conversations about current and future product developments.
  • Facilitate (and where necessary execute) legal, personnel, and financial processes across the business, including becoming the Data Officer, overseeing all customer data.
  • Coordinate board meetings and support the board as required.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Soho office, working with the landlord and council as necessary.
  • Facilitate and manage logistical arrangements across the team as required.
  • Plan and organise team away-days and company socials.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the sales, R&D and support teams (including occasional distributor / user site visits) as required.

You’re likely a great fit if you have some of the following:

  • Experience in working within the creative technology industry; be that as an engineer, a creative or in manufacturing.
  • A flair for commercial negotiation and developing effective commercial relationships.
  • A love of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • A passion for music, audio, or the entertainment industry.

We imagine you’ll find yourself contemplating questions like:

  • How do we get in the door with a potential commercial partner who doesn’t seem interested?
  • How quickly can we get a support team to a customer in a field in Brazil?
  • What is the best way to get someone to agree with you?

  • Hybrid working from our office in Soho, working from home and supporting the smooth running of the office as appropriate. Whatever suits you, so long as it works for the team.
