Philip O’Brien Auto Repairs Ltd T/A O’Brien’s Garage are looking for an Experienced Qualified Motor Technician to join their team in their Mazda Dealership in Midleton, Cork. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and organised individual who can work both from their own initiative and as part of a team. The annual salary is €45,000 per year, and the standard working week is 39 hours.

Roles & Responsibilities
The main roles & responsibilities will be to:
Carry out routine servicing & maintenance on vehicles as per the manufacturer specification.
Carry out Vehicle Health Checks (VHC).
Conduct vehicle diagnostics and checks to identify the action required to remedy vehicle faults.
Testing vehicles to ensure the repairs carried out were successful.

Skills & Competencies
Be a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
Experience with all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, franchise dealer experience preferable.
High quality work ethic with attention to detail being of utmost importance.
Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Continuous Development
Maintaining and developing your skills as a Motor Technician is an important part of your role.

Requirements
Previous experience in a Franchised Motor Dealership
Full Clean Drivers Licence with access to their own transport
Good oral & written English
Personal Attributes valued by O’Briens Garage
Punctual
Efficient Time Management with excellent planning & organisation skills.
Respectful & Dependable
