Metallurgical Coatings Engineer: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

Masonbrook Motors Ireland Ltd, Masonbrook, Loughrea, Co. Galway require multiple Metallurgical Coatings Engineers.

The salary range starts from €34,000 (16.77/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Role & responsibilities
Design and develop coatings for metal and component parts, optimizing for corrosion resistance, durability, and appearance.
Oversee surface treatments to ensure proper coating adhesion.
Create coatings to protect against rust, corrosion, and wear in harsh environments.
Streamline coating processes (e.g., spraying, electroplating) for efficiency and quality in production.
Conduct performance tests and ensure coatings meet standards and customer expectations.
Explore new materials and technologies for improved, eco-friendly coatings.
Ensure coatings comply with standards and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot coating issues during production.
Work with design, manufacturing, and supply teams to ensure coating solutions align with project needs.
Optimize processes to reduce costs and waste while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Requirements
Be a Metallurgical Coatings Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
A professional working level of English is required.
Must have good teamwork and communication skills.
