About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our post-primary teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students across Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate levels, fostering a positive learning environment that supports academic achievement and student confidence in the subject.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Mathematics syllabi (including Higher and Ordinary Levels).
Use a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress in accordance with school and Department of Education guidelines.
Contribute to the development of departmental plans, assessments, and resources.
Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
A recognised degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
