Overview

An established and growing manufacturer in the FMCG sector is seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their Dublin-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional to work in a fast-paced production environment, supporting a wide range of automated and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults across robotic cells, conveyors, belt systems, ovens, cooling systems, and packaging machinery.
Replace mechanical bearings, service motors and gearboxes, and maintain pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold safety standards.

Criteria

Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent mechanical discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Experience with automated systems and industrial machinery.
Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work rotating shifts (early and late).

Reward

Competitive salary: €60,000 – €70,000
10% KPI-based performance bonus
