Logistics Co-Ordinator

(Company Name - Subscribers only) are the leading UK Manufacturer of Medical Examination Couches, Treatment Tables, Patient Trolleys, and Ergonomic Seating.

We are seeking a Logistics Co-Ordinator to assist with the organisation and arranging of all Export shipments being sent either on Ex Works terms or incoterms. Reporting directly to the Logistics Team Leader, this role also involves assisting with the UK Logistics team and assisting delivery drivers / organising delivery runs, when the Team Leader is on annual leave.

Main duties & Responsibilities

· Monitoring Logistics inbox and assisting with emails in – as well as personal inbox

· Generating pack lists and commercial invoices and sending these to customers and freight forwarders

· Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls

· Requesting Freight quotes for quotations & live orders

· Organising collections of export orders

· Working with the Production Department to give customers delivery updates

· Weekly and monthly reports to customers where required

· Overseeing container collections as and when required

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

· Minimum of 2 years Logistics/ Transport experience

· GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English Language (Grade 4 / C +).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particualrly Word, Excel and Outlook

· Good communication skills both verbal and written

· Good organisation skills

· Ability to prioritise own workload

Desirable

· Sage 200 experience

This is a full time, permanent role based on 37.5 hours per week (8.30am – 4.30pm, Mon – Fri).

The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance of our headquarters in Debenham, Suffolk. The company isn’t offering visa/sponsorship or relocation packages for this role.

Salary from £26,000, dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
