Live-In Carer (Female) – Because Kindness Is Your Superpower!

Do you have a heart of gold, nerves of steel, and a sense of humour that could brighten the rainiest British morning? If your answer is a resounding “yes”, then we’ve got the kettle on and a room waiting for you!

We’re seeking a female live-in carer (this role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1 due to the personal care needs of the client). You’ll be supporting a warm, sociable individual who enjoys getting out and about — from trips into the community to everyday home life, you’ll be their trusted right-hand person.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and practical daily support with kindness and respect
  • Assisting your client to access the community — think coffee outings, appointments, or local activities
  • Cooking wholesome meals (bonus points if your roast potatoes are top-tier)
  • Offering companionship, encouragement, and a steady hand when needed
  • Keeping the home environment calm, safe, and welcoming

What’s In It for You:

  • Competitive pay and a comfortable live-in setup
  • Regular rest breaks and ongoing support
  • Travel and food expenses covered while on duty
  • An Enhanced Adult and Child DBS check – fully paid for by the client
  • A rewarding role where your compassion makes a genuine difference every single day

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (you’ll be helping your client get out into the community)
  • Previous experience in care – professional or personal
  • A caring, reliable nature (and ideally a good sense of humour – it helps!)
  • As per the Asylum and Immigration Act 2006, you must demonstrate eligibility for employment in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (we’ll handle the cost)
  • Flexibility to work on a live-in rota basis — typically 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off, or potentially 12 weeks on / 3–4 weeks off, depending on the client’s needs

If you’re the kind of person who believes that care should come with warmth, respect, and maybe a dash of laughter – we’d love to hear from you.
