We are excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to advance their career. Our client, a well-respected RCVS accredited practice, is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team in Derby. As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be part of a progressive practice that values team ethos and is committed to making a real difference in the lives of clients and patients. This well-established and friendly practice boasts a modern facility with top-notch amenities, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, X-ray, dentistry, laser surgery, and more. You will lead a team of four vets, supported by an exceptional nursing and client support team.

The ideal candidate must be RCVS registered and have prior experience in practice. You should demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills, work well within a team, and understand the importance of exceptional care in enhancing the client experience. Additionally, you should be adept at using coaching and influencing skills to maximize the potential of each colleague.

The Rota:
– Full time role – 40 hour week
– 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekend rota
– Part time applications welcome
