Purovets have an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join the team at a fantastic practice in Norfolk as a lead veterinarian. You will be at the front line of delivering exceptional care and play an integral part of each one of the practice sites in the area. From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, you will work directly with patients and clients to offer care that is bespoke to them and provide essential support to colleagues in delivering exceptional care.

Their mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means you will have the very best equipment and treatment options available to you. You will be working in a spacious practice that comes fully equipped with separate dog, cat and exotics wards, high-quality ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, multi-parameter monitoring and holds a cat friendly status.

Along with their expertise in all furry creatures, they have a special interest in the treatment of exotic pets. Their specialist equipment enables them to provide a high standard of care for all our patients, including smaller ultrasound probes, endoscopy systems, a dedicated exotics ward and special dentistry equipment and instruments for smaller patients. The main hospital site provides 24-hour care to the surrounding region and referral work in exotic medicine.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week over four days with 1 in 3 half weekends, but they are open to being flexible where they can to accommodate whatever works for you. They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a skilled worker visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

The practice is situated just outside the beautiful city of Norwich, offering a wealth of historic buildings, one of the finest cathedrals in England and a magnificent castle overlooking the city. The countryside is on their doorstep and they are a stone’s throw away from the Norfolk Broads and the Norfolk coastline, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore.

Role:
