A leading global financial and commodities firm is recruiting a Senior Manager (or Manager), Indirect Tax, to join their expanding tax team in the UK. The team are scaling up and seeking a senior indirect tax specialist to lead on transactions and commodity flows globally. What You’ll Be Doing:• Spearhead indirect tax strategy, compliance and advisory across global market, commodity and trading activities. • Ensure correct VAT / GST treatment across physical commodity flows, derivatives, shipping, logistics, hedging and trading structures. • Manage cross-border tax issues, multi-jurisdiction trading flows, supply chain structuring and tax recovery. • Engage with tax authorities and external advisors on indirect tax audits, rulings and controversies What You Need:• Essential: Commodities / Trading Experience hands-on exposure to indirect tax in physical commodities, derivatives, energy, metals, or related markets – • Experience either from tax practice (Big 4 or boutique advisory) or in-house / industry roles is welcome. • Based in the UK (remote work possible) or willing to relocate; visa sponsorship is supported.
