Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Indian Snacks, Food, and Savoury Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on Indian cuisine. This role involves creating authentic snacks and savoury dishes that delight our customers while adhering to food safety standards. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to meal preparation and ensuring high-quality culinary output.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of traditional Indian snacks and savoury dishes, ensuring authenticity in taste and presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes accurately and maintaining consistency in food quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Help develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while honouring traditional methods.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- MUST KNOW HOW TO MAKE FOLLOWING TO EXCELLENT QUALITY:
- – full preparation and cooking of:
- – Vegetable, Lamb, and Chicken samosa
- – Chicken tikka roll, cheese roll, lamb kebab roll
- – Lamb Biryani
- – Vegetable pakora
- – Milk Finni
- – cheese spinach pastry
- – Mango lassi
- – red onion chutney
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine or similar culinary backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills, particularly in creating snacks and savoury dishes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for culinary arts, with a desire to learn and grow within the role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
