We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Immigration Specialist to join our growing People Reward and Mobility practice in the UK.
The role is primarily focused on corporate immigration. You can expect to work on a wide range of immigration applications in addition to HR advisory and Brexit-related projects. You will work with international organisation, handling their immigration requirements and ensuring that the business and their employees remain compliant.
You will maintain client relationships, contribute to business development and thought leadership, raise your own profile, and support the continued growth of the practice.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with some of the team’s most valued clients. You will provide end-to-end immigration support for visa applicants applying for UK visas. You will also provide administrative support to the team to streamline the application and billing processes. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Independently manage a busy caseload with varying deadlines and levels of priority making sure that timelines are met and work is delivered to client requirements and expectations
  • Preparing and assigning Skilled Workers and Global Business Mobility Certificates of Sponsorship
  • Supporting visa applicants from beginning to end of the visa application process
  • Providing written and spoken immigration advice to visa applicants
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of the status of each visa application
  • Supporting with billing clients
  • Contribute to business development

Required experience, skills, and attributes

Technical Skills

  • Experienced with Sponsor Management System tasks, such as creating and assigning Certificates of Sponsorship and posting reports
  • Thorough knowledge of the visa application process for entry clearance, further leave to remain, and indefinite leave to remain applications, particularly for work-related visa categories.
  • Competence to operate with minimal supervision
  • Expert drafting skills and legal research ability
