Job Description & Skills Required
Overall Purpose of the Job:
To pick or care for, through husbandry tasks, products such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and top fruit
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Correct Fruit/Produce picked into correct punnet / crate to correct standards
• Husbandry tasks carried out correctly
• Individual is achieving daily productivity targets
• Adherence to all Policies & Responsibilities at all times
Main KPI’s:
• Arriving at Work area on time.
• Comply with all Company and statutory Policies for Health and Safety, Field Harvesting, Husbandry & Field Hygiene
• Carry Out all Crop Husbandry Tasks to Keelings instruction & rules and Quality.
• Ensure all productivity metrics are Achieved
• Ensure berries or produce are picked to the correct specifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
• Agricultural Background
• Previous experience of fruit harvesting would be an advantage
