Home Care Support Worker: Comfort Care Limited: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with their daily activities, and promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Traveling to and from clients’ houses to provide personal care.
Supporting clients with mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.
Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team.
Providing high standards of emotional, social, and personal care to clients.

Requirements:
QQI – Level Healthcare Support or Equivalent QQI Level 7 qualification applicable to the role
Previous experience as a Home Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar role (Care Skills, Care of the Older Person) is preferred.
Preferably holding a healthcare-related qualification.
Driver’s license (National or International) is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate nature and empathetic approach to patient care.
Physical stamina to perform various duties.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
