Home Care Assistant Rapid responder: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

The applicant must have at least 6 months of healthcare experience in a healthcare environment and commit to obtaining QQI Level 5 within two years. Duties will include working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of home care for service users at their homes, assisting and enabling service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet, and bathe; serving meals to service users at the table or in bed, and assisting with feeding if required; generally assisting with service users’ overall comfort and well-being; providing interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user; helping with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, and collecting benefits; undertaking light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required; monitoring service users’ conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and contributing to record keeping; liaising with professional staff in carrying out care plans, etc., together with any other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor or another authorized officer from time to time.

-Candidate must be fully flexible and be available to cover when required as a rapid responder Care assistant.
