Job Description

Candidate must have Healthcare or equivalent Nursing Degree/Allied Health Degree/Diploma.
Suitable for pre-registered Nurses to act as a bridge between Nurses and current team of Healthcare Assistants.
Should be educated to relevant patient care experience.

Support and assist Nursing Home residents enabling them to fulfil their day to day activities and ensuring that residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible.
To assist in the provision of care delivery at the highest level of care.
To ensure that residents retain their dignity and privacy.
Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting their equality and dignity at all times
Respect the privacy and dignity of all residents and promote their independence.
Contribute to the moving and treatment of residents to maximise physical comfort, utilising manual handling techniques.
Provide particular attention to residents who have limited mobility.
Provide appropriate intimate care for residents in accordance to their care plans and in accordance to the residential home’s intimate care policy and procedure.
Communicate with all residents and their relatives/representatives. Ensure that all are made feel welcome and offered refreshments.
Comply with all policies and procedures relevant to the job role including those that incorporate health and safety, infection control and waste disposal.
Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Managing Director.
