An exciting opportunity has arisen to join (Company Name - Subscribers only)s Public Health Department to support the delivery of a new Integrated Care System (ICS) programme – Tobacco Dependency Treatment.
We are looking to appoint two Health Improvement Advisors to deliver Tobacco Dependency Treatment based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. One to be based in inpatients and one in maternity supporting pregnant women and partners/household members who are receiving care from Chesterfield Royal Hospital working alongside maternity healthcare professionals.
This is a unique opportunity to join a new, dynamic, and growing service which is looking for individuals with a passion and ability for supporting people addicted to tobacco.
You will require excellent communication and listening skills, with a knowledge of behaviour change and a good understanding of factors affecting health. You will require experience of working independently and the role also requires partnership working and promotion. A good level of IT literacy will also be required to navigate IT systems and ensure high quality data. Knowledge and experience of tobacco dependency would be advantageous for this role.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
