Any prior commercial experience — such as a placement year or post-university analytical role — will be highly valued.What you’ll be doingApply mathematical and statistical techniques to support business decision-making, forecast performance, and quantify uncertainty.Use data analysis and data mining to understand customer behaviour, revenue performance, and identify new commercial opportunities.Specify, implement, and maintain datasets to support statistical and probability-based model development.Carry out detailed, well-documented analysis to support model development and generate actionable insights.Contribute to scenario and probability modelling to assess risk, opportunity, and gross margin outcomes.Support monthly performance reporting and analytical reviews across the business.Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical audiences, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.SkillsDegree (2:1 or above) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a closely related field.Further MSc in a quantitative discipline advantageous.Strong understanding of statistical modelling, probability, and data-driven decision analysis.Excellent attention to detail, with a logical and curious mindset.Proficient in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and interrogate large datasets.Exposure to tools such as VBA, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python is beneficial.Confident communicator and team player who enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced environm
