Job Overview
The Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts and food production, along with excellent supervisory and team management skills.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
  • Manage food preparation and production processes to maintain consistency and adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock for operations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences through effective team management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £31,000.00-£39,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
