Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be crucial in driving team performance and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth operations.
• Manage and train kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food preparation.
• Monitor food production processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all menu items.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving service efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and kitchen to uphold cleanliness and organisation.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
