(Company Name - Subscribers only) is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Family Support Worker to join a dedicated team at a Family Assessment Centre in Harlow (CM19).This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with families during their assessment process, offering hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help them move forward in a positive and safe environment.?? Key Responsibilities
- Support families with day-to-day routines and parenting tasks during assessments
- Build positive working relationships with parents to help them address challenges
- Provide practical advice and emotional support to both parents and children
- Contribute to and follow care plans to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
- Keep clear, accurate records and reports on family progress
- Work alongside other professionals such as social workers and healthcare staff
- Offer hands-on care and supervision, particularly with babies and toddlers
? What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children, families, or in a childcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Calm, professional, and compassionate in challenging situations
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
- Passionate about making a positive impact on families’ lives
- Experience in early years or similar hands-on care with babies and toddlers is essential
