Experienced PCV Engineer – (Company Name - Subscribers only) | Luton: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

(Company Name - Subscribers only) which is part of the A to B Group in Luton are currently looking to recruit 2 experienced engineers to join our team here in our Luton Workshop.

We have requirements for the following shift patterns

· Early shift from 0600-1400 Monday-Friday (every other weekend 6 hours on a Saturday)

· Late shift from 1400-2200 (every other weekend 6 Sunday on a Sunday)

PCV/PSV Engineer Qualifications

· NVQ Level 2 minimum

· IRTEC accreditation

· Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience ideally working on coaches or busses

· A strong commitment to health and safety standards

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· IT skills are essential to use databases required

· Confidence in using diagnostic equipment and good overall diagnostic skill

· PSV licence is beneficial

Responsibilities:

· Inspecting, repairing and maintaining coaches

· Ensuring quality repair and following safety instructions and reporting any issues

· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

· Replacing of major components if required

· Recording PMI, faults, and the work completed using a tablet linked to the vehicle maintenance system

· Making decisions about road call breakdowns if required

· MOT presentation

· Liaising engineering team to avoid lost mileage.

· Updating the Service Manager on progress
