The post holder will be central to supporting the effective operation of the Quality, Experience & Standards Division including an administrative service to the Deputy Chief Nurse and Deputy Director of Quality Governance.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will undertake general administration duties to assist the Quality, Experience & Standards Division, including diary management, organisation of meetings, documentation of notes / actions and the collation and circulation of papers, reports and other relevant documentation to support the overall divisional function. They will need to be highly organised and able to communicate to all levels of staff within a Trust environment.

  • GCSE Qualifications Maths & English Grade C above
  • NVQ level 3 business administration or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Good standard of general education and / or relevant experience

Knowledge

Essential

  • Broad range of IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet and local information systems.
  • Experience of delivering an administrative role in a comparable organisation
  • Understanding of the importance and requirements of data protection and confidentiality
  • Ability to draft and present written and verbal reports

Desirable

  • Knowledge / experience of (Company Name - Subscribers only) / public sector organisations

  • Significant experience in providing comprehensive administrative support functions e.g. minute taking and supporting meetings.
