Device Engineer: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

As (Senior/Principal) Device Engineer, you will join (Company Name - Subscribers only)’s talented and ambitious GaN R&D team, directly contributing to our ability to successfully produce GaN devices.

This is your new job:

• Lead power device design and simulation

• Develop and own GaN device designs and layouts using layout tools and/or GaN device concepts using TCAD tools

• Drive benchmarking and understanding of competitor technologies

• Collaborate closely with product, reliability and application engineers to develop GaN technology solutions that benefit product performance, quality and customer requirements

• Consider all product aspects from design-to-manufacturing to effective cost structure

This is you:

• PhD or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline

• In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs

• Proven experience in design of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs

• Proficiency either with layout tools (i.e. Cadence, Klayout) or TCAD tools (Synopsys Sentaurus preferred)

• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Team player with strong problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
