We are looking for a dermatology clinical nurse specialist to join our team to help with the management of adult and adolescent individuals with chronic skin disease who take systemic, biologic and small molecule medications.
This post requires a nurse with specialised knowledge and expertise in dermatology who is able to currently work independently alongside the multi-disciplinary team. Our current nurse-led clinics include psoriasis, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa and acne. In which drug monitoring, repeat prescription management, disease management/making modifications to treatment plans and patient education are undertaken. As well as, utilising your skills to give advice and support to other staff, which may include the provision of specialist education.
You will already be a nurse prescriber and have experience in dermatology. Along with a desire and drive to implement an integrated approach to patient care when new treatments become available for use on the NHS.
You will demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation for the specialty given the variety of nurse led clinics we have to offer.

The post holder is a recognised expert in the specialty, responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes and undertaking specialist nursing procedures
Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff. This includes the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and students
Responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care
Required to undertake research and lead clinical audits in own specialist area
