Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference?

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our specialist Autism and LD service in Ollerton.

Due to the growth of the home and additional responsibilities we require an additional Team Leader to join the existing team.

We offer solutions to individuals with their needs, maximising their independence with the right support at the right time. We work in a person-centred and recovery focused approach, steeped in therapeutic optimism.

Responsibilities and Duties

You’ll lead or supervise a team of care workers to ensure they provide high quality care and support.

Managing and supporting workers so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.

Supporting your Manager to run your workplace according to standards and legislation

Acting as a positive role model to colleagues

Developing care plans that outline what care and support individuals needs

Leading team meetings and doing inductions, supervisions and appraisals

Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure individuals get the support they need.

Qualifications and Skills

You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working with autism with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile. You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative. Full training provided and paid for!

NVQ 3 essential.
