Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing customer relationships, and supervising daily operations. This role requires a strong focus on sales management and team development to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the customer service department, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
- Manage and supervise a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales management to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on phone etiquette, product knowledge, and effective communication skills.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide feedback to ensure targets are met.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions for administrative purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong supervisory skills, with experience in team management and development.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers.
- Administrative skills for maintaining records and reports accurately.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
