Cushion Filler position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cushion Filler to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with feather, dacron and various foams to produce luxurious and comfortable seat and back cushions. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for high-end luxury furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

Cushion Filling: Prepare and fill cushion covers using feather, foam, sacron, and other specified materials to achieve desired comfort and aesthetic standards.

Material Handling: Cut and shape foam and dacron to precise specifications, ensuring consistency and quality across all pieces.

Quality Control: Inspect completed cushions for uniformity, fullness, and overall quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet (Company Name - Subscribers only)’s high standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with upholsterers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of filled cushions into the overall furniture pieces.

Customisation: Adapt filling techniques to accommodate custom designs and special client requests.

Maintenance and Inventory: Maintain an organized workspace and inventory of filling materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in cushion filling or a similar role in a luxury upholstery or furniture-manufacturing environment.

Skills: Proficiency in working with various foam, feather, dacron, and other filling materials. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Knowledge: Understanding of various cushion types and styles, and the ability to achieve desired firmness and aesthetics.

Attributes: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Passion for high-quality craftsmanship and luxury products.
