CNC Milling Machine Operator: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

To manage and produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery, maintain quality, safety and environmental standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and consumables in a busy manufacturing environment.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Plan machining by work schedules.
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture high precision products
Programming CNC machinery by entering instructions, including zero references positions.
Program, operate, and adjust CNC machines with a focus on precision and quality control
Production set up.
Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent quality output
Ability to read and interpret drawings and knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
Knowledgeable with tool / insert selection and utilizing the correct feeds and speeds.
Good knowledge of dimensional measuring instrumentations and use of such tools to verify actual measurements of machined dimensions and features.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles and 5S.
Adhering to quality procedures and process-familiar with ISO 9001: 2015.
Planning and problem solving abilities.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures.
Maintain continuity between work shifts by communicating actions, irregularities with supervisor and fellow operators.
Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
2 cycle Shift work may apply for this role.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements
Perform Quality inspections on parts ie. first off checks, CTQ measurement, complete required inspection sheets
Monitor machine operation to detect any problems or errors
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
Maintain detailed records for each job, including materials used, machine settings, and quality control results
Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
