Cleaning Operative: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning and sanitising common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, staircases, and laundry rooms.
Deep cleaning of post-tenancy apartments, ensuring they are ready for new occupants.
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas.
Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team.
Following established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Using cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Communal Area Cleaning
Lobby and Reception Areas:
Ensure that lobbies and reception areas are clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times.
This includes dusting furniture, polishing surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning glass doors and windows.
Hallways and Corridors:
Maintain cleanliness in hallways and corridors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming regularly.
Ensure that all lighting fixtures are clean and functional.
Elevators:
Clean and disinfect elevator interiors and exteriors, including buttons and panels.
Staircases:
Sweep and mop staircases, ensuring that handrails and banisters are wiped down and free of dust.
Laundry Rooms:
Keep laundry rooms clean and tidy by wiping down machines, sweeping floors, and emptying trash bins.
Post-Tenancy Apartment Cleaning
General Cleaning:
Perform thorough cleaning of vacant apartments, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all rooms.
Kitchens:
Clean and sanitise all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and appliances. Ensure that cabinets and drawers are clean inside and out.
Bathrooms:
Clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers. Polish mirrors and clean glass surfaces.
Living Areas:
Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including baseboards, window sills, and light fixtures. Vacuum and/or mop floors.
Bedrooms:
Ensure that bedrooms are thoroughly cleaned, including dusting, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.
Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
