Full Job Description:
Vanilla Pod Dun Laoghaire is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic
kitchen team. The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing high-quality dishes, work e?ectively
with the team, and contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty.
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the creation and development of new
menus and dishes.
Managing and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working
alongside you.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen, ensuring
compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitoring portion sizes and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Contributing to a positive team environment and e?cient kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for creating quality dishes and an eye for detail.
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week.
Salary: €34,000 per annum.
