Catering Assistant – Dublin City Centre
We’re hiring a Catering Assistant to join a busy healthcare facility in Dublin City Centre. This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you’ll support patient care through nutritious meal preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals and drinks to patients and staff.
Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness to the highest standards.
Follow HACCP food safety and infection control procedures.
Stock and rotate ward pantry supplies correctly.
Work closely with catering and ward teams to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Requirements
6–12 months’ experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Porter, or similar role (healthcare experience is an advantage).
Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene procedures.
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
Flexible, reliable, and great at working as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits
€17.53/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
