Adult Social Care Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) are based in District Offices or out posted locations such as Health Centres. INTs are made up of Social Care staff such as Social Workers and Reablement Officers and Health staff such as District Nurses and Physios. Each INT will support citizens and patients within a geographical area.
As a Business Support officer, and primarily a Receptionist, you will provide admin support to the professional staff within the INT. The duties are varied but may include meeting and greeting citizens at reception, answering the telephone, data input, scanning and uploading of documents, ordering goods and services, payment of petty cash, processing of invoices and many other administrative tasks.
Regardless of the team they are based in, through the work that they do, Business Support Officers play a valuable role in helping residents of Manchester. We cover North Manchester, South Manchester and Central Manchester.

Essential requirements for the role:
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and keen to learn. You will need to possess excellent keyboard skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft IT packages. You will need to be a team player and will need to be able to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines. You must be able to use your own initiative.
You will need excellent customer service skills and will need to be confident speaking to citizens both in person and on the telephone, for this frontline receptionist role.
