Our client, Pudaxa Limited, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Body Shop Panel Beaters for immediate start at their facility in Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co. Dublin, K36 P589.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
To assess and repair damage on a variety of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), buses, and plant machinery.
To realign chassis, remove and replace damaged panels, and carry out fabrication and structural repairs.
To operate equipment such as heavy-duty jigs, hydraulic presses, and welding tools.
To conduct cutting, grinding, and MIG/MAG/TIG welding on steel and aluminium components.
To carry out pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
To collaborate with paint technicians and workshop staff to complete jobs efficiently.
To maintain accurate job cards and work reports.
To adhere to health and safety standards specific to heavy vehicle repair environments.
Requirements: Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Panel Beater role
Experience with commercial trucks and plant vehicles is an advantage
Candidate must be competent to carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery
Panel Beater certification is a plus but is not mandatory
Strong welding and metal fabrication skills.
Proven ability to work on large-scale body structures and heavy vehicle chassis.
Comfortable using diagnostic and measuring tools for large vehicles.
Knowledge of body repair processes for articulated lorries, tippers, buses, and diggers.
Experience with fibreglass and composite materials is a plus.
Certification in welding or heavy vehicle structural repair is a bonus
Annual remuneration: €34,000.00; Pay rate €16.77 per hour
