AyurVilla Ltd. is an Ayurvedic and alternative healthcare clinic in England. We are recruiting authentic, highly qualified, hard-working staff all dedicated to the health and well-being of our clients and patients.
The clinic will offer consultations from the resident-qualified Ayurvedic doctor, authentic Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments, Naturopathy treatments, and Ayurvedic herbal supplements.
We are looking for a FOUR qualified Ayurvedic doctor /practitioner with previous experience in the field of Ayurveda to join our clinic.
The successful candidate will carry out the following main duties:
Conducting daily consultations with patients on a variety of different ailments.
Accurately assessing the imbalance in the body of the patient and recommending appropriate diet, herbs, lifestyle, and treatments to rebalance the body and mind where necessary.
Applicants must have the relevant skills and experience in a similar post to handle the following duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for specialised Indian Ayurvedic therapeutic treatments and massages , Pizhichil, Njavara Kizhi, Ela Kizhi, Podi Kizhi, Shirodhara, Abhyanga, Udvarthanam, Kati Vasthi, Greeva Vasti, Janu Vasti, Uro Vashti, Siro Vashti, Nasyam, Dhanyamla Dhara, Ksheera Dhara, Takra Dhara, Kalari Marma (Uzhichil), Ayurveda Pregnancy Massage, Shiro Abhyangam (Indian Head Massage), Pada Abhyangam (Foot/Leg Massage), Panchakarmas, etc. and other ayurvedic clinical procedures and examinations. Massage the patients to discover the cause of pain, relieve or manage discomfort, restore function and mobility, and correct irregularities in body structure; prepare items used for the treatments and massages using ingredients such as organic herbs, oils, ointments, and other organic natural materials or decoctions.
Ensuring treatment area and utensils are maintained at the required hygiene and safety standards; maintaining treatment records, training and supervising junior staff; preparing reports; ensuring that a good quality of service is offered to clients, etc.
You will have a passion for delivering excellent quality service and will have a high level of literacy and numeracy, as well as exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be competent to provide appropriate Ayurvedic massage/treatment to patients.
- Capable of prescribing and overseeing each patient’s treatment plan.
- Take responsibility for taking and keeping detailed, up-to-date records for each patient so as to refer to past conditions and treatments; and for other departments to be able to view the records so they can provide the best service possible at the clinic.
- Occasionally giving talks to small, interested audiences to enlighten them on the science of Ayurveda.
- Overseeing the teaching of the Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments to the therapists.
- Knowledge of Kerala Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments is required.
- Committed to working and communicating with the team at the clinic to give the very best service to every patient through the door.
The successful candidate will have a graduate qualification (BAMS) in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. You must have obtained BAMS in Ayurvedic medicine and have extensive experience in treating a wide range of conditions in an Ayurvedic clinic.
You will have a passion for delivering excellent quality service and will have a high level of literacy and numeracy, as well as exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
