Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, discreet, and nurturing Au Pair to support the care and development of a 2-year-old child within a high-net-worth family environment. The child currently attends nursery part-time, and the role involves providing exceptional care outside of nursery hours, ensuring a secure, enriching, and developmentally supportive atmosphere. This position requires someone who combines warmth and flexibility with the ability to meet the expectations of a private, high-profile household. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Polish is a strong asset.

To support the role, private accommodation in the form of a self-contained studio flat and a dedicated car will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care and ensure the child’s safety and wellbeing at all times, particularly before and after nursery hours.
  • Support the child’s early development through age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and language engagement.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for a toddler, aligned with family preferences.
  • Assist with nursery-related routines including drop-offs, pick-ups, and transitions.
  • Organise stimulating outings, playdates, and structured indoor activities that foster curiosity and social development.
  • Maintain a clean, calm, and organised environment, including tidying toys and managing the child’s belongings.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding the child’s progress, routines, and any concerns.
  • Provide safe transportation to and from nursery, extracurricular activities, or medical appointments using the provided vehicle.
  • Demonstrate discretion and respect for the privacy, routines, and expectations of a high-net-worth household.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience caring for toddlers, ideally within private families or high-net-worth households.
  • Excellent English communication skills; fluency or strong proficiency in Polish is a distinct advantage.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and reliable, with the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
  • A valid driving licence is required; confident driving skills are beneficial and supported with a dedicated vehicle.
  • Warm, empathetic, and developmentally focused approach to childcare.
  • Comfortable working within a formal or semi-formal home environment.
  • First Aid certification is an advantage; willingness to obtain it upon hire is essential.

We look forward to welcoming a kind, polished, and proactive individual who can foster our child’s development while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism. This is a live-in role, and we are pleased to offer a private studio flat and car to support the successful candidate’s independence and comfort.
