About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Assistant Team Leader in our Croydon and Portsmouth test centre. The purpose of the role is to strengthen management structures and to provide much needed support in making us better able to deliver a quality and efficient service. Reporting to the SELT Centre Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and keeping abreast of the day to day operations within the SELT Centre. You will be required to ensure a smooth operation of various processes and adherence to Trinity’s’ policies, procedures as well as regulatory requirements, to maintain the security and integrity of the tests.
To also support the Team Leaders in the day-to-day management of SELT UK Customer Service and Administration teams, ensuring all aspects of the candidate journey are delivered to the specified timescales and standards. To be successful in this role, you will have the aptitude to lead and motivate colleagues and ensure they are delivering superb customer service.

The hours for this role are as follows , 8:00am u2013 8:00pm, 40 hours/week, 5 over 7 days, Monday to Sunday as determined by rota therefore weekend availability will be required.
Requirements
– Accomplished in the provision of customer service excellence.
– Robust communication skills to communicate at all levels both written and oral.
– Ability to portray a professional image at all times and in challenging situations both internally and externally.
– Strong IT skills, proficient in the use simultaneously of Email, Word and Excel programmes.
– Exemplary time management and organisation skills.
– Leadership experience desirable, demonstrating training and coaching experience.
