Job Overview
The Assistant Minister plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual and administrative functions of the ministry. This position involves engaging with the congregation, facilitating educational programmes, and participating in various church activities. The Minister Associate is expected to embody the values of the ministry while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members.

Duties

• Assist in leading worship services and other church events.
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to congregation members.
• Educate and mentor individuals or groups on religious teachings and practices.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote church involvement.
• Communicate effectively with congregation members, staff, and community partners.
• Collaborate with other ministry staff to plan and execute church programmes.
• Engage in public speaking engagements to represent the ministry at various events.
• Facilitate workshops or classes that may include dance as a form of worship or expression.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
• Public speaking experience to confidently lead services and presentations.
• Ability to educate others on religious teachings, fostering understanding and growth within the community.
• A passion for dance is a plus, as it can be integrated into worship practices or community events.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships within the congregation and broader community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,841.00 per year
